    Pre/postnatal Nutrition

    Approximately 15% to 25% of women have iron deficiency during pregnancy.   Being a vegetarian, that information would’ve been very helpful to know as I am more at risk of developing iron deficiency.  And that’s not the only nutrient that pregnant women are more at risk of becoming deficient in: Vitamins A, C, D, E, K1, and B6, folate, choline, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and zinc are also common.
